Love winter until its gets too cold. Isn’t that like most things nature gives us? We like things until we don’t.
Winter is also a time for art. With the lack of color in the outdoors I find abundance of color in art. This winter I challenged myself to look more deeply at art for inspiration and influence. I’ve come across two highlights to share.
The first, Rob Deloach. His work is of the earth. Usually baked with flora and fauna his work has a sense of reverence for the natural work that I find refreshing. Rob uses colors liberally without confusion. His sense of order and definition is established by the totem-esque compositions where the left matches the right perfectly. But the true beauty is in the balance order and chaos he achieves with each piece.
